Chairing a youth advisory committee
Two years as chair of a youth advisory committee for a diplomatic mission, carrying young people’s priorities to decision-makers.
From 2023 to 2025 I chaired a youth advisory committee for a diplomatic mission in Burundi. I completed the two-year term, recognised with a certificate of appreciation.
The work taught me what makes youth advice count: being asked early, hearing back on what happened to it, and a budget to act on it.
